The first physical release will be limited to 5,000 wallets.

Tangem Pay has introduced physical payment cards, widening its offering to cover everyday spending. The new cards let users pay online and in stores wherever Visa is accepted and also withdraw cash from ATMs. Each transaction draws directly from a user’s Tangem Pay balance in USDC, moving the service nearer to a conventional banking model while still keeping cryptocurrency at the core of the product.

Limited Release and Regional Availability

The first physical release will be limited to 5,000 white cards. These items are issued in the cardholder’s name by Rain under its Visa program framework. The cards are shipped to the address entered at order time, but the rollout differs across regions. In addition, Tangem Pay provides a virtual card that works alongside the new physical version.

ATM withdrawals are capped at $250 per transaction and at three withdrawals within any 24-hour period. Spending limits follow the rules of each plan. The company does not levy a transaction fee on card purchases under any plan, although foreign-exchange charges, ATM operator fees, and other third-party costs may still apply.

Cashback in USDC

Users with a Basic account can earn a 1% cashback on qualifying purchases of $30 or more, while Plus members receive a 2% rate. The Plus tier is a paid subscription that costs $29.99 each month. Basic participants may collect up to $100 in cashback per month, whereas Plus subscribers can earn as much as $300.

Cashback is credited directly in USDC to the user’s Tangem Pay account at the close of each monthly cashback period. Eligibility varies by geography and merchant category. Balances sit in a dedicated Rain smart contract rather than in the user’s self-custody Tangem wallet. These funds are not bank deposits and they lack FDIC insurance or comparable statutory deposit guarantees.

The rollout aligns with a broader shift toward stablecoins in mainstream payments. Visa reported an annualized stablecoin settlement volume of roughly $7 billion as of March 2026, indicating that digital assets are becoming embedded in established payment infrastructure. By linking cashback to USDC, the firm gives users a concrete benefit they can spend immediately, instead of abstract points or airline miles.

Card Issuance and Benefits

Tangem Pay cards are issued by Third National (Nimbus LLC), a licensed financial entity based in Puerto Rico and a Principal Member of the Visa Network. The program is overseen by Rain. Plus members also enjoy free delivery on their first physical card, no Tangem fee on ACH or wire on-ramps for qualifying U.S. bank transfers, and Visa Signature perks.
