VIPR urges better insurance data connectivity at ACORD

VIPR Solutions, an insurance-native technology platform, has emphasized the need for improved data exchange between trading partners after participating in ACORD Connect 2026. The event, held in Connecticut, brought together leaders from the reinsurance and specialty market to discuss digital data exchange. They explored ways to improve the flow of information between brokers, underwriters, and other trading partners.
One of the panel discussions, Connecting the Dots, examined how digital data exchange is changing the way these parties work together. For delegated authority business, risk, premium, and claims information often moves between multiple organizations, each with its own systems and reporting requirements. This can lead to inefficiencies and errors, highlighting the need for better connectivity.
Paul Templar, Co-Founder and CEO of VIPR, stated that better connectivity starts with data that trading partners can trust and use. VIPR’s technology helps transfer, standardize, validate, and reconcile bordereaux data in a controlled and auditable way, processing around 500,000 bordereaux annually, representing approximately $12 billion in gross written premium. This technology is designed to provide a clearer view of business operations.
VIPR’s technology is used by the majority of Lloyd’s Managing Agents and five of the world’s top 10 global brokers. The company is backed by Bridgepoint Growth, its majority shareholder, which will support further investment in VIPR’s technology and accelerate growth in international markets. Bridgepoint Growth’s investment will enable VIPR to expand its capabilities.
VIPR’s announcement at ACORD Connect 2026 followed its recent majority investment by Bridgepoint Growth. The partnership will enable the company to expand its existing insurance-native AI capabilities and bring its capabilities to more of the market. Templar noted that VIPR’s focus remains on helping customers turn complex data into a clearer, more timely view of their business. This focus is central to the company’s mission.
As a leading insurance-native technology provider, VIPR is committed to high standards of data security and privacy, reflected in its SOC 2 compliance. The company operates across the UK, Europe, and North America, and its customers rely on its platform to automate bordereaux management, strengthen coverholder oversight, and support regulatory compliance. VIPR’s platform is designed to provide a secure and reliable way to manage complex data.
